Intimate Warren House Wedding: León and Letitia
I’ve nearly caught up on my weddings from last year and today I bring you the wonderful wedding of León and Letitia.
Letitia and I met a decade ago at the crack of dawn in the back of a tour bus in Guatemala! We were both travelling through Central America with our friends and were in the same tour group travelling from Guatemala to Costa Rica before my friend Vicky and I continued our journey to Panama City.
We were in touch through the power of Facebook so Letitia has seen a lot of my work posted there. When Letitia got in touch to ask me to photograph their wedding, I couldn’t say yes quick enough! When I heard León’s family were also coming over for the wedding, I thought it would be a great chance for me to practice my Spanish. Even with a Spanish boyfriend my grasp of the Spanish language could be better. Much better!
What a great day they had at Warren House. León and Letitia had a lovely small and intimate wedding with their very close family and friends. It was lovely to see so many of León’s family travel over from Spain to be a part of the celebrations.
León and Letty’s day was a very relaxed affair and Warren House was the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. With a small wedding group, there was one long table for everyone to sit around and get to know each other. One of the many benefits of a smaller wedding.
Later, when I asked Letty about one her favourite moments of the day, she said ‘Finishing the first dance!’ It think that definitely explains the happy smile on her face at the end of it!
I personally think they rocked the dance floor, but have to agree, the first dance scares me too!
So on to the pictures! Letty and León, wishing you both many wonderful years of marriage to come and looking forward to catching up with you soon.
