Charlton House wedding: Karen & Ken
Ken and Karen got married on a beautifully sunny autumn Monday at St. Saviour’s Church in October.
Before the wedding they got ready at hotels about 5 minutes apart in Greenwich which made it easy for me to capture both of them pre ceremony. The nerves started to show the closer we got to leaving for the church but those soon disappeared when we got to the church and they met at the altar. During the ceremony, it wasn’t hard to see how much they had for each other.
After the service and so much confetti - I do love a wedding with a lot of confetti - we headed to Charlton House for the reception. While guests enjoyed the cocktail hour, we snuck off to take some photos in the beuatiful gardens at Charlton House. After the speeches, a few tears and the first dance, they finished off the night with lots of dancing.
For my first Monday wedding, I’d recommend it. Don’t think it being a school night stopped the celebrations in anyway and I was glad to be able to capture it all for the happy couple.
