Cambridge Engagement: Craig & Lisa
Back in September, while exhibiting at the National Wedding Show at the NEC, I ran a competition for one lucky couple to win an engagement shoot with me. Lisa and Craig were said lucky couple and we met up recently in Cambridge to photograph their engagement.
These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot a breeze.

Over to Lisa for her to share the story of how they met and the proposal. “We first met whilst we were both serving in the Army and based in Andover. We started off as friends whilst organising the unit’s Christmas party where Craig impressed me with his ‘dancing’ skills. Our first date was at a service station with Burger King followed by a Little Chef sticky toffee pudding! This June we will have been together for 5 years.”
“Craig proposed whilst we were watching Ed Sheeran in concert in Cardiff. Actually, he nearly forgot to propose because he was enjoying singing along to Thinking Out Loud. When he stood up he upset the people behind us who told him to sit down, to which he shot back “I’m about to propose!” He then got down on his knee and asked me to marry him and I said yes!”
Ah, I do love a bit of Ed and I think he makes a good addition to an engagement story!
Wishing you both all the best for your amazing wedding in July on the beautiful Gower Peninusla. I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!
Here are a few of my favourites from their session.
