Second Shooting:Mayfair London wedding - David & Taleb

On 29th March 2014, gay marriage became legal in England and Wales. I was honoured to second shoot for Dewan Demmer at one of the first same sex weddings to take place on this historic day.

David and Taleb were such a fun couple to work with. They started off the day together getting ready with one of the closest friends. We met them at the Langham Hotel near oxford Circus before heading towards Piccadilly Circus and St. James’s Park for photos.

They wanted to take their photos before the ceremony so they could take their time and not rush through them and to be present with their guests at the reception. After their photo shoot, we headed to the ceremony at the Mayfair Library. They were stopped by a number of well wishers along the way, which was great to see.

After the ceremony, we hopped on a routemaster bus and took the scenic route through Central London to the Hoxton Grill for their restaurant wedding reception.

If you would like to see more of their fabulous day, please head over to Dewan’s website. Dewan, thanks for letting join you for this beautiful wedding on such a momumentous day.

Below is a small selection of images from my perspective of their day.
